A First Fishing Game That Was Actually Made for Babies

Most fishing toys hide a little metal hook or magnet on the end of the line, and that is exactly why nearly all of them say ages three and up. The Little Fisherman does it differently. A soft velcro bobber sticks gently to each fish the moment it touches down, so even a ten-month-old can land their very first catch all on their own. Play That Grows Right Alongside Them

At six to eight months, the magic is in the squeezing, carrying and mouthing of all those soft little fish. Somewhere around twelve to fourteen months, when grip and coordination catch up, the velcro rod becomes the main event. By two, your toddler is fishing on their own, sorting the catch by colour, counting fish into the numbered cups and stacking those cups into wobbly little towers.
