Montessori Toddlers started the way most good ideas do — out of frustration. As parents of two young boys, we wanted toys that actually did something. Not flashy plastic with buttons and sounds, but simple, beautifully made things that let little ones figure stuff out on their own. The kind of toys you don't need to explain — you just watch them play.

We couldn't find them easily. So we went looking.

Our approach is rooted in the Montessori method: child-led, hands-on, natural materials. The principles Maria Montessori worked out a century ago, that still hold up. We hunt for the best toys, learning tools, and keepsakes, test them with real families, and bring them together in one place. Some we adjust — different materials, better dimensions, working directly with makers to refine details. All of them we stand behind. From the Toddlers Tablet and Chef Set for hands-on learning, to the Felt Board Books for storytelling, to the Toddlers Frame for capturing those precious early moments — every product is chosen, tested by our own kids, and only shipped when we'd give it to a friend.
