What is Montessori Toddlers?
Montessori Toddlers is an online store offering carefully selected Montessori-inspired toys and learning materials for children and their parents. Our focus is on play that supports independence, concentration, motor skills and natural curiosity.
What age are your products suitable for?
Each product is designed for a specific age range, which is stated in the product description. We offer products for babies, toddlers and older children, so you can choose what suits your little one's stage.
Do I need to follow Montessori at home to use your products?
Not at all. Our products fit naturally into everyday family life. At its heart, Montessori is about giving children the chance to explore, practise and learn at their own pace, something that benefits all children whatever your approach at home.
How do I choose the right toy for my child?
Every product page lists the recommended age and the skills the toy helps nurture, from fine motor practice to early problem solving. Pick based on your child's stage and interests, and if you'd like a recommendation we'd love to help at info@montessoritoddlers.com.
What's the status of my order?
You can follow your order any time on our order tracking page. Just enter your order number and email to see the latest update.
I haven't received a tracking number yet, what should I do?
Tracking can take a few days to appear after your order is dispatched, and a small number of economy shipments travel with limited tracking. If you haven't seen any movement a few days after your confirmation email, get in touch with your order number and we'll look into it straight away.
Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?
If your order hasn't shipped yet, we may be able to help with changes or a cancellation, so please contact us as soon as possible after ordering. Once an order has shipped we're no longer able to change or cancel it, but you're always welcome to return it (see our returns policy below).
Something is missing, incorrect or damaged, what should I do?
We're sorry to hear that, and we'll happily put it right. Please email info@montessoritoddlers.com with your order number, a short description and a photo if relevant, and we'll sort it out for you promptly.
How long will it take to get my order?
Delivery usually takes 7 to 10 working days, depending on your location. You'll receive tracking details by email once your order is on its way.
Where do you ship to?
We ship across Europe, and to the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
Is shipping included in the price?
Shipping is included in the price unless stated otherwise at checkout, so the amount you see is the amount you pay.
Will I have to pay customs or import charges?
Within the EU there are no extra charges to expect. For some destinations outside the EU, local customs or import taxes may apply. These are set by your local authorities and are outside our control, so we're unable to predict or cover them. If you're unsure about your country, drop us a line before ordering and we'll share what we know.
Can I change my delivery address?
If your order hasn't shipped yet, contact us as soon as possible and we'll update it. Once a parcel is in transit we can't change the address, but the carrier can often help redirect it, and you'll find their contact details on your tracking page.
What is your return policy?
You're welcome to return your order within 14 days of delivery. Items need to be unused, with tags on and in their original packaging. Return shipping is the customer's responsibility, and original shipping costs are non-refundable.
How do I start a return?
Email us at info@montessoritoddlers.com with your order number and let us know what you'd like to return. We'll send you the return details. Please note we don't always have a return address in every country, so do wait for our instructions before sending anything back.
When will I receive my refund?
Once your return arrives and has been inspected, we'll refund you to your original payment method within 2 to 3 working days. Original shipping costs aren't refundable.
My order arrived damaged or faulty, what should I do?
We're so sorry, that's not the experience we want for you. Please contact us within 14 days of delivery with your order number and a photo of the issue, and we'll arrange a replacement or refund. In most cases you won't need to return the damaged item.
Are there items that can't be returned?
For hygiene and quality reasons, personalised items (such as engraved puzzles and backpacks) and hygiene products (such as pillows) can't be returned. If there's a fault or an error on our part, we'll of course make it right.
Are your products safe for children?
Yes. Safety matters enormously to us. Our products are intended for children, are CE marked and comply with relevant EU safety requirements. We always recommend adult supervision, especially for younger children.
What materials are your products made from?
This varies by product, and each product page describes the materials in full. Our range includes solid wood, wood with printed finishes, felt and other child-friendly materials, all chosen to be light, durable and lovely to play with.
A part is missing from my product, can you help?
Of course. Email us at info@montessoritoddlers.com with your order number and a photo, and we'll send out the missing part so your little one can carry on playing.
How do I clean and care for the products?
Most of our toys can be kept clean with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Please avoid soaking wooden items or putting them in the dishwasher, as this can affect the finish over time.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards, and Klarna is available in selected markets. Your available options are shown at checkout.
Is it safe to pay on your site?
Yes. Our checkout is fully encrypted and handled securely through Shopify, so your payment details are always protected.
Which currency will I be charged in?
Prices are shown in the currency for your region at checkout, and that's the currency you'll be charged in.
Are your products suitable as gifts?
Absolutely. Our products are popular gifts for birthdays, baby showers, christenings and other special occasions. Many parents and grandparents choose Montessori Toddlers to give something that's both playful and meaningful.
Do you offer gift wrapping?
Not at the moment, but it's something we'd love to offer in the future.
Do you offer bulk orders for schools and preschools?
Yes, we love working with nurseries, preschools and schools. For larger or recurring orders, email us at info@montessoritoddlers.com with the products and quantities you have in mind, and we'll help put it together for you.
Can I order on account or get a VAT invoice?
We're happy to arrange the right paperwork for your institution. Get in touch with your details and we'll let you know how we can help.
Do you offer discounts for educators or institutions?
Tell us about your setting and the size of your order, and we'll see what we can do. We'd love to support more classrooms with Montessori-inspired materials.
